For most of my life I have maintained a stable level of fitness by exercising regularly about 3-4 times a week. Now in my 40's I take supplements almost year round to help me build and maintain more muscle, strength and endurance. I started stacking BSN products (Pre, Nitrix, Post and Protein). After about 2 weeks, I noticed a difference in strength and endurance on a typical strength training program, weight lifting, cardio, etc. while taking BSN. I attribute the strength increase primarily to the creatine in most of these products. It also contributed to bloating, which I don't like. But still it worked. After reading reviews of Genius products I decided to try Genius Muscle Builder, Genius BCAA and Genius L-Arginine to replicate or improve or at least maintain the results. Unfortunately it isn't. After just over 2 weeks of use, I noticed a decrease in durability. Yes, I use the product exactly as they recommend. I also experienced faster fatigue and more sore muscles. The overall recovery feels about the same as taking any other supplement. I can say that I didn't have nearly as much gas as I wanted. I have been using the product for over 4 weeks now and the results are as you would expect if I had not taken any supplements. Since this product is marketed as "Muscle Builder" and is very expensive and gets great reviews, I felt the need to throw in my 2 cents as well. Admittedly I am more than used to buying supplements and a bit disappointed with the results so my expectations are low. Based on the price and reviews, I had high expectations for this product. So if you are looking for muscle building I would look for other less expensive options.
