The video that accompanies my review was taken with this webcam. I bought this webcam mainly for the built in ring light as my office has windows behind me which make me look dark on most cameras even when all the lights in the room are on. Unfortunately, as you can see in the video, the ring light only provides a tiny amount of extra light, and my image still looks darker than my other colleagues' video streams when I'm in a Webex meeting for work. The quality of the camera is okay for the price. Autofocus works best when you are in the exact center of the camera's field of view. If you lean a little to the side, it will have trouble auto-focusing on you. I've also noticed that the webcam video sometimes crashes or the computer freezes. I'm using Windows 10 on a company laptop which has a lot of features locked down for security reasons, that might be part of the problem, but I have to unplug and plug the camera in again from time to time anyway. Time. I almost returned the camera for this reason, but I'm learning to live with it. Overall, I'd give the webcam a rating of about 3.5 stars out of 5 if I could, but I'm rounding up as Revain doesn't allow partial star ratings.
