The broom clip is good enough but a regular broom is wide enough you can't get more than 2 on this mount and that's if you spread them apart in height. If you decide to hang the dustpan on the hooks, they don't really stick out far enough to clear the brooms. An extra inch outside the broomstick would be a big improvement. The product photo is also misleading. It shows what a 4 inch wide broom should be. The metal back is quite thin. I first tried mounting it with 16" studs but it seems to me that the center bulges out without additional screws in the drywall anchors or with double sided foam tape. I'm tempted to just do a 1/4 stud next time take and attach individual clips to it.
