My orthodontist said I take very good care of my clear retainers. They look like new as long as I wear them every day. According to her, retainers usually fade and lose their transparency after a few installations. Mine are over 5 months old and still like new with daily use. I don't need to clean anything at all. Just one tablet in relatively warm water and let my retainers sit there for 15-30 minutes while I shower and get ready for bed. Very easy and worth every penny spent. It's time to order again and I will definitely buy them again. Just a note, some of them make the water light blue and these are better, some make the water clear but they are not as good as others. It's a mix of both in the box and I can't figure out why. But I keep ordering more as they work well for me. No bad smells or tastes. So all good for the price.
