We bought this to use during a massive demolition project removing 3,900 square feet of studs, all insulation, floors and just about anything else we could reach. . We recently had a flood in our house and the repair company brought these units, much more expensive than the competition, and let us have them for a while. We needed one for our upcoming much larger project but weren't impressed with the competition's prices so I found this product and couldn't be happier! It performs just as well as the other and is actually a little quieter than the others - it's still noisy but at a more tolerable level. In fact, buying this space is a lot cheaper than renting it even for a few weeks! Last weekend we stripped all the insulation from our blankets. We have a relatively flat roof which we found when we removed the insulation which was once a tar and gravel roof now replaced with a membrane roof but you can imagine the amount of dust, rocks, mold and all. there since the 50's - practically the most disgusting isolation you've ever seen. When we filmed it you couldn't see the whole room - the air was literally black. So we finished our job, gathered up all the insulation and let the air purifier do its work. After 20 minutes we were back and the air was completely clean! (We still had to wear masks, but the difference was amazing and saved us a ton of cleaning!) We vacuumed the unit, opened the HEPA filter, vacuumed, and got on with the rest of the day - with no dirt lying around in that machine and Dust in the air for many, many hours! Couldn't be happier with this car!
