Review on 🎧 Audiopipe 9-Band EQ: Ultimate Sound Equalizer for Enhanced Audio Experience by John Caldwell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only two settings for a 60 or 90 Hz crossover

I only bought this EQ because there were nine bands, not for the crossover ability, so the choice of 60 or 90 Hz does matter doesn't matter to me because I control my subwoofers via the subwoofer on my main unit. I rigorously run the mids and highs through the EQ and they sound great. If you are looking for an EQ with better crossover capabilities I would suggest getting the Rockville R7EQ which has a 40Hz to 250Hz crossover capability with an infinity control somewhere in between. I think the Rockville was a bit cheaper and looks just as good, only downside is that it has 7 lanes instead of 9 lanes like the AP. The hotspot looks really good too, it has snap buttons, press them and they pop out, set them and you can press them again and they sink in so they don't hit. I believe these EQs are all made in the same factory because they all look pretty much the same and the power/ground/remote are interchangeable on both my Rockville and the audio tube, unplug and plug in one in the other. There's really no noticeable difference with the extra two frequency settings on the audio tube to my ears, if I had to repeat that I wouldn't spend the extra money on an AP and just use Rockville, but Rockville isn't going to waste it I built ended up putting a small system in my jeep and putting it in there.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Long wait
