Have you ever seen what happens when there's no steam coming out of a motorcycle tank? This is madness. It builds up such pressure in the tank that it pushes the fuel up the carburetor vent tubes and pours it onto the ground at a decent rate. Then when you open the tank to release the pressure, the pressure is so great that the fuel actually jumps out of the tank. If you want to see this phenomenon with your own eyes, look into these "openings" and see for yourself! I mean they don't work. The above actually happened to me after installing it on a 2007 Yamaha WR450.
