It has a screw cap with no spout, is airtight and dishwasher safe. However, I prefer an insulated metal bottle. They're about the same weight, which surprised me, and can hold hot or cold drinks, making them more versatile. And an insulated water bottle keeps cold water longer. In addition, the metal is more suitable for recycling.
