I have wanted to love this book since I loved her first book, Sock Tissues, but this book exceeded my high expectations. There are 16 patterns here, classified by yarn count/scarf size, from 1 sock to 2 sock and over 2 sock. I want to make almost every scarf in this book! There is a wonderful selection of knits top down, bottom up, triangles, crescents, rectangles and circles, solid color lace or just lace edges, solid color or multi colored - I can't imagine anyone not finding something they love loves. flavors here. Each pattern has diagrams and written instructions, as well as lots of pictures of shawls so you can see what the resulting shawl will look like. Anyone interested in making beautiful shawls out of their precious fine skeins of yarn will not be disappointed with this book.
