A great place to start knitting an openwork shawl!

This is an amazing book! I wanted something with shawls that I could actually knit and learn along the way! That's him! I also ordered the first book, but to be honest the patterns in this one seemed a lot prettier! They are divided by scarf size, so you can choose your size according to your needs. I start small to get my feet wet and practice reading charts. My choice? jasmine scarf So easy to read and complete! If you are new to shawl knitting, especially adding lace, start here! I love this

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Absolutely amazing designs!

This is an absolutely amazing knitting book. This book is just as delightful as her previous book, Sock Handkerchiefs. Her skills as a knitter and her attention to detail make this book a great addition to my collection of knitting books. There are so many options to choose from for your next project. I have all the patterns to knit. It's very rare to get a book with so many eye-catching articles. I love the fact that she has created different sections from small shawls to large beautiful…

There is a wonderful selection of knits top down, bottom up, triangles, crescents, rectangles and circles, solid color lace or just lace edges, solid color or multi colored - I can't imagine anyone not finding something they…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Poor instructions
