Not actually a sweater, but instead a silky material like a hockey jersey. The shirt is comfortable, with very long sleeves. (I'm a six-foot female, and frequently have trouble finding garments with long enough sleeves.) I recommend sizing up a bit. Mine fits fine, but it's a larger size than I normally wear. (I normally wear a large/x-large, and I got the xxl) It's not going to keep you warm, but the material is very comfortable (although probably not very breathable). I'm sort of thinking about buying one of these that isn't holiday themed.
