Review on Smart speaker Yandex Station 2 with Alice, black anthracite, 30W by Micha Borkowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

On his way to using stations, he owned all currently released stations ( station, station Max and now station 2). Based on the accumulated experience, I will say the following about Station 2, I got the feeling that this is a kind of intermediate product that provides new previously inaccessible opportunities, but without the continuity of the positive qualities of previous models. Station 2 is better than Station, but at some points inferior to Station Max, namely, the lack of a clock screen (a very convenient feature); the principle of the volume control; there is no ability to connect to a TV (but there is a twofold situation, on the one hand, this function worked crookedly, on the other hand, it is convenient for old TVs without smart TV). It's great that now Station 2 works as a "hub" and sees a lot of sensors (ZigBee), you can come up with a huge number of useful scenarios. The first impression is that I still expected more, that it would be better than Station Max, but Station 2 turned out to be really a new generation station with a hint of further improvements and bringing the product to perfection.

Pros
  • -Compact size -The station began to see many different sensors, respectively, the possibility of using scenarios increases many times over. - You can switch the song by swiping from left to right. Comfortable.
Cons
  • -There is no rotary volume control, you need to repeatedly press your finger on the desired volume sign to lower it (it takes longer to adjust the volume) -There is no screen with a clock that was on the station Max. -There is no HDMI connection to the TV to turn on movies through the speaker (a handy feature for older non-smart TVs) -Worse responds to "Alice" than station Max.
