Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in AT&T Cloud Silver, 128GB Storage by Avut Lapnan ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase is a failure, very unhappy.

The phone is not worth the money, moreover, there are no basic functions. This is my 4th Android and 1st Samsung. I did not expect this from the flagship phone of the office, which is trying to compete with Apple, although it does not even reach the level of simple smart phones. I switched from Asus Zenfone3, whose main camera stopped focusing, but it cost 18 thousand, while it only outperforms Note9 in terms of convenience and functionality, in any case, I didn’t see any advantages in speed and battery (browser with 60 tabs, mail, applications, do not play games). So: 1. Mail does not display a number of IMAP mail folders. At the same time, smart is positioned as for working in a corporate environment. The menu has a function ALL FOLDERS, but not everything is there. And is this a work phone? You will have to install another application. 2. We launch the dialer and there it is IMPOSSIBLE to choose which contacts to display and which not. ANY phone has this and you can choose which contacts to display, which not. Note9 does not have this. As a result, I have porridge there from the mail address book of 300 pieces, phones: on SIM cards, in the phone's memory and in Google. This is the simplest elementary function and it does not exist? 3. If you need to press some button on the curves of the display (crosses often get there to close ads on sites, for example), you will have to suffer, it works 3-4 times. The sensor on roundings does not work well. 4. On ALL of my Androids there was a clock display function if the smart was on charge. The screen barely glows and displays the clock, it is convenient at night if you wake up to see what time it is. Samsung has a newfangled Always-on-Display that does not know how to do this simple operation. You can turn the clock on by schedule or always. And if I don’t want to drain the battery and want it to work only when charging, this smartphone doesn’t know how. For that, he knows how to show a splash screen or flip through photos on charging. What about the clock? Little things? Yes, but these are the basics that MUST be and IS in Smartphones for 10 Why is this not in Samsung for 70? By switching to this phone, I lost in CONVENIENCE and FUNCTIONALITY.

Cons
  • The phone is not convenient, there are no a number of basic functions that are and must be in ANY smartphone. Poor response to pressing on the curves of the display. No FM radio.
