This is a very good device and there are a few things you should know about before you buy it. Door handle/bolt hole in line with latch hole. Attaches to the door with 2 screws located where the latch mechanism slides and aligns with the screw holes of the walkway plate. Cons: Pay particular attention to the dimensions: 2.8 x 8.4 x 7 inches The 8.4 inches is especially important if you have a window or decorative carving. You CANNOT put the clip on the door if your window/thread/etc. is closer to the edge of the door than the 8.4 inch window. I couldn't get the hole saw that came with the kit to fit through the hole in the jig. Instead, I used the ones I already had.
