Review on πŸ”‹ Improved Nitecore D2 Battery Charger with LCD Display - Universal Smart Charger for Rechargeable Batteries: IMR, Li-ion, LiFePO4, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd by Sergio Wingate

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Seems well built and works, but it's big and slow. So slow!

Well built but limited to 500mAh charge for both channels. I'm tired of running on batteries, but the charge time can exceed 6 hours and there is no option to select a faster charge. There are many other cheaper chargers on the market with the same features that have at least a 1000mAh charging option and will cut your time in half. Even some of the newer Nitecore chargers allow for faster charging, so the notion that this is better for your batteries is wrong. At least you should have the option here as it's a wall charger with no USB option. He seems super powerful and relatively well built. You're paying for a premium charger that's big and slow. It is about the size of 4 battery chargers. If you know you need a Nitecore then you don't need this review, but I would do some research and make sure what amp output options you need and how long you're willing to wait for your batteries to charge. If you receive this one, you may need extra batteries for backup so you don't have to wait long. Before buying this charger: Check the output current. I tried charging a 26650 battery and after 7 hours it didn't move a single bar. It also doesn't have USB capabilities, so it's not a travel charger, but it's about the same size as some 4-bay chargers. I have 4 Nitecore flashlights. I like Nitecore products but I have no plans to buy another charger from them.
