Review on Cordless drill driver Makita DDF453RFE by Wiktor Tasior ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but expected more.

I bought because of 2 batteries 3Ah. Thought to sell or donate leftovers. Then I decided to leave it in the garage. And he began to like me. Yes, it is bulky and heavy with a 3Ah battery. Yes, it does not have a charge indicator, but it is on the 3Ah battery itself. I thought about buying a 1.5 Ah battery, it stopped that such batteries do not have a charge indicator. Spins great. I really like that it starts almost from scratch, it is much easier to bait a self-tapping screw at a minimum speed. than my Metabo Powermax. I really like the fast charger at 9A, 3 Ah in 20 minutes. I also have a grinder and a circular saw and 4 batteries for 3Ah, such a charger is very handy. Would I buy it just as a screwdriver? No. Only as a supplement to the charger and two 3Ah batteries. 04.09202222 Years have passed. Prices jumped ahead. Now I can say for sure I would not buy this Shurik. Such a bulky thing in the house is not needed. I only use it as a drill. In terms of power, it is inferior even to my Makita DTD155 screwdriver. It is not necessary to turn heavy self-tapping screws in the apartment, but in the garage or somewhere else you can put up with the roar of a screwdriver. But it is lighter, smaller and more powerful. After the convenience of tightening large self-tapping screws with a screwdriver, and I don’t want to take a large screwdriver in my hands. You need to press on the screwdriver, otherwise you will cut off the slots, you almost don’t have to press on the screwdriver.

Pros
  • Price per set screwdriver + charger + 2 batteries for 3Ah + case 7500 01.082022
Cons
  • no backlight, no battery indicator, bulky, heavy
