Mary Poppins meets MacGyver!

It worked like magic! It's well built and not flimsy, the parts fit well and it does the job! We have a wood stove with no bends, a straight shot of about 16 feet to the hood (minus the part from the ceiling to the stove). We do not have an open wood stove like on YouTube. We removed a piece from the stove to the ceiling, took a milk jug and cut the handle off to thread the rods, put on a bowl cut to the size of our pipe, taped the jug to the pipe and then taped the air duct to ours Shop vacuum cleaner (actually an old household vacuum cleaner) to the perforated mug. Then it was necessary to head cut a path up the pipe and add poles every three feet, and then cut the path back down. Tip: Use a good drill with good torque. Our cordless drill mastered this task without any problems. After 5 years we got a small bag full of soot/creosote and the pipe shines again. It worked really well and we are very, very satisfied. Thanks to whoever mentioned the milk jug - that changed everything! Be sure to use a milk jug.
