Review on πŸš› Mophorn Double Acting Hydraulic Trailer by Michael Nard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great block so far!

I really didn't know what my acquaintance with this pump would turn out to be. I needed it fast and I needed it to arrive and work without problems. I decided to get a bale grab for my skid steer loader. I work alone on the farm so you can only imagine what a life saver that was. My skid steer doesn't have hydraulic aux ports so I went the other way. And this hydraulic unit is the heart of it all. Without them it's useless. The product came much earlier than expected. Within a week. Tracking was inaccurate. FedEx actually said the label was illegible and they replaced it. When she arrived she was in perfect condition. Excellent packaging. The kit included 3 sets of adapters for hydraulic connections. Many reviews say you should buy 1/4" BSPP to NPT adapters, which is what I did. Although the pump is actually a 1/4" BSPP pump, adapters are included. I ended up using the JIC adapters that came with the pump. From there I went to the local Rural King and bought 3/8" hose, 3/8" adapter fittings for the JIC and adapter fittings for the cylinder I needed to connect it to. The pump did not come with mounting screws or main battery cables. You have to install them yourself. For battery cables I used 6 GA. 8mm mounting screws. One feature that I wasn't expecting is the presence of a magnet on the controller. It conveniently attaches to my skid steer operator station for easy access. With Mobil 424 hydraulic fluid, which I use in every car I own, the pump runs fast and great. I use it from all angles when mounted on skid steer attachments. So far so good and I've handled, loaded and then unloaded about 300 bales with it. I'll update this over time and share my experiences, but so far it's been a great device. πŸ‘
