He patched a small hole in the down jacket. So far it has worked incredibly well; sticks firmly to the fabric and has stayed that way ever since (my jacket was slate gray and the black stain is barely noticeable - it almost looks intentional). often, and (b) it has only been a few weeks. If for any reason this product starts chipping, smudging, peeling etc I will definitely update this review. UPDATE: A year later, the down jacket patch is still holding! I've also used this to patch some trail running shoes and so far it's held up well on them too.
