Go up a size! It was good.

So I am an Indian and I had to fast salwar kammez for an event that was to take place soon. I found this Salwar Kameez and saw the pictures looked beautiful so I decided to buy the Yellow Red Salwar Kameez. When it came in the mail and I opened it, the packaging was good and the color combination was nice. It matched the picture. I ordered the size XL which I usually wear based on the size chart which also seems to fit this outfit. However, when I tried it, it was a little snug. The waist was fitted and normally salwar kameez should be slightly loose. My arms felt very tight due to the tight sleeves. Maybe my hands are bigger than the average woman's hand size XL? I do not know exactly. The floor fitted perfectly. The material itself isn't the best, but it's still decent quality for the price. However, I have to say that the fabric is itchy. In principle everything was fine. I think it might be different than what I'm used to because I usually buy Indian clothes from boutiques where the quality is better, but usually Indian clothes are expensive depending on the style, the type of silk or fabric, the amount of Jori (also known as Zori). ). So for $50 it's not bad, but it's not great either. One piece of advice I would give is to simply go up a size for a better fit and traditional look.

Pros
  • Outer fabric: Banarasi artificial silk || Lower fabric: Banarasi viscose || Fabric Dupatta: Rayon Banarasi
Cons
  • There is a problem
