I have had three of these locks for over 15 years and love them. I've never had a single TSA cut, even with my bags opened and labeled, and I've never had anything in my "missing" suitcases. These castles have also survived in dozens of international locations. I have a key that works with all three locks I have on my keychain and my mom has a spare key in case I lose mine. I needed a few more to lock my rolling suitcases/computer bags which I can't take with me on part of my regular trip and have to check in at the gate due to the size of the plane. I ordered 2 sets (ie 4 locks). I confess I didn't read the other reviews because I thought I knew what I was getting. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I found out that none of the 4 new locks can be opened with my native key - and only 2 of the new locks can be opened with the 1st new key (from 2 different sets). I had to paint the locks and keys with nail polish to make it easy to tell which key went with which lock (I used black, white, and pink for the two locks with a common lock). After a trip with three new locks, I permanently added a pink key to my already large set of keys. Keys/locks with a black and white code are sent in a box where maybe in another 15 years some of my first locks will fail and I have no choice but to carry 3+ luggage lock keys with me.
