Great price and it fits a 2001 Rodeo

I ordered this for my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS. I got a little concerned after reading the reviews, particularly from Raquel Lynn Wilson last November, as I had already ordered this. Of course you should have read it first. but I also see that some had no problems. First let me say that Raquel got some bad advice - this item fits a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. The right plug is there, and the sleeve is there too. To be fair, they are NOT easy to find! The connector is taped high up just behind the taillight so it's very, very hard to find. I ended up doing what others have done and pushed the inner panel aside, looked inside, and there it is. I pulled it out and it was hanging nicely on top of the jack access door. Now it's more fun - the rubber hose runs through the grommet on the wall behind and to the left of the jack. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! I believe the rubber hose is for the fuel tank vent and you do NOT want it in the car! Also, the plug is too small to fit through that hole (as another reviewer found out). I looked in, climbed in, and looked out, but couldn't find a "gasket" to remove. Eventually I felt *inside* behind the jack and slightly to the right (towards the front of the car) I felt something right. So let's go back down and see where it should be, voila, here it is. He pulled it out, put the plug from the kit in the hole, the rest of the wire to the socket that came in the kit, and put the socket in the hole (matching the size). I then routed the trailer light wiring through the frame and out between the bumper cover and my Curt hitch. Inside, I just connected the two connectors together until they clicked into place. No problem. I spent more time looking for a plug and the right hole than installing this and putting everything back in place. I would take photos, but none of the 'spots' you need to find are out of place. where it is easy or even possible to get a camera. This is a great value compared to tee kits and tee kits are NOT needed on a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo.
