Little effort to install but works well. didn't realize I had to buy a Hopkins mount to hold the fork. wasted money on a universal mount. The mount wasn't cheap either.

Installed on my '01 Rodeo Sport. I found a factory plug taped behind the socket on the right side. The 4-door Rodeo has it on the left. Plugged it in straight away, the grommet was in the right place and they supplied enough wire to run it to the hitch. Ease of installation. Good quality.

The rubber grommet is hard to find and the white plug is usually hidden somewhere near the outlet. I have a Rodeo 01, it fits perfectly and works as it should, lots of wires to attach it to different places on the back. I keep mine tucked between the plastic bumper and my short tug. It fits snugly but is easily accessible when I attach a trailer.

I installed it on my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS. The installation went relatively smoothly after consulting some helpful online resources (Isuzu Rodeo forums, etc.) that have information on the procedure. The fact that this connector plugs directly into the factory wiring harness connector on the vehicle was a key selling point for me, along with the price. It goes well with my utility trailer lighting system.

Well I already wanted to return this kit because it was not possible to install it and according to the instructions the plug was not where it should be. So I dug at my Rodeo and grabbed the driver's back panel and unfortunately the plug was there. Directly connected. The bushing was also difficult to fit as it is on the underside of the car on the right hand side. Once I found the location and connection, it took me about 15 minutes to install the wiring and 30 minutes to install the jack.

The directions are very pixelated and hard to see but luckily it was pretty easy. The plug on my '04 Rodeo was in the socket bay as described, but it was taped out of sight to the bundle of wires that went to the taillights. I bent the panel surrounding the jack compartment to the side (no tools required) to get a better angle on the tailgate side. The included bushing fits perfectly into the bushing hole under the jack. I have read reviews on this product and several people have said they have used it on their Isuzu Rodeos.
