This is my 5th spike finder and my favorite so far. It feels very deep and the multiple LEDs give a great idea of what's underneath compared to other spike finders with a single hot/cold sensor. It's also nice to have a spirit level, ruler and pencil. A small drawback is the uncomfortable horizontal position of the handle. When held, it sometimes gives false readings if your hand is too close to the ground. It is inconvenient to use for a long time. Two-layer drywall is a little more than it can do. If you have walls with 1 inch deep studs, try a simple magnetic stud finder. The magnet will find the drywall screws that are usually attached to the studs. I recommend buying a soft case for protection.
