Decreases - becomes too big and too small.
I originally bought a size 16 for my 13 year old son and had to return it because it was too big so I bought a size 14 and it fit very well, looked great! Then I washed it. The instructions say wash on a gentle cycle and machine wash at medium temperature. When this was done it shrank so much that it was too small for my seven year old nephew. They tried washing, stretching and air drying it again, but it couldn't fit my nephew of thirteen anymore.
- I love this sweater! It fits so well and is cozy!
- When I first put it on, the sleeve was torn wide from wrist to shoulder.
