Review on Vinson & Elkins by Carlos Burrows

I worked at an international law firm that was part of another legal group (a large US corporation). They used ELKINS attorneys who were very good but not top notch by any means - so it is hard to recommend them unless you need someone local or cheap. We had some issues which we resolved quickly over email. Nothing major though just typical corporate stuff like signing off contracts etc. I had an opportunity at work working closely within EMEA tax department during my tenure there where we were doing due diligence reviews across different jurisdictions around Europe (UK/Ireland), Africa etc., this is something that i enjoyed immensely! We also did some transfer pricing engagements which was very interesting too!!
