I purchased this bag to use as a briefcase to carry the various laptops this item is advertised for to and from work and found that all three laptops from Measuring 16.4 inches to just under 17 inches wide and fitting comfortably, with at least an inch or more of headroom on each side, this feature deserves a 5-star quality that this owner/reviewer admires - with the right sewing machine made for the Working with leather - for a bespoke, unique appearance - not, and should not be, such a product. The retractable feature gets 4 stars due to minor imperfections (a) interior open top pockets without zip - pocket(s) flush with adjacent material (first photo) - not expandable to e.g. B. a portable mouse, a power adapter for a laptop or other device. The combination of the two and (b) the storage straps, ideal for storing USB drives, have no closed bottom (2nd photo), causing them to dangle, slide out, and then fall to the bottom of the case, exposing them to a thorough Hitting and hitting with a laptop. The lack of padding to protect the laptop carried with this briefcase, a feature not claimed in the description, was not considered a factor in the pricing of this item.
