Review on PAC LC-1 Remote Amplifier Level Controller,Black,Small: Advanced Audio Control at Your Fingertips by David Plunkett

Recently installed an old Memphis mono amp in my truck. It works great but doesn't include the original Memphis remote. Turns out not all RJ11 remotes are compatible, so I went looking for a universal gain control and stumbled upon it. It costs less than $10 and offers the same functionality as most proprietary gain controls costing five times as much. This was delivered today during my lunch hour so I decided to hook it up to my truck before pulling into the driveway. I simply grabbed an extra pair of RCA cables going from the output jacks to my amp and then plugged in my existing preamp RCAs. Works like a charm and allows me to turn the bass down a little faster when I pull into the office lot every morning. I'm sure my colleagues will appreciate it lol.
