Review on TRIWONDER Outdoors Mochilas Marathoner Hydration by Deejay Allard

Great backpack for the price, perfect for marathons and 50k training runs.

I am an avid runner and my longest runs are 3-4 hours. 50K cross-country is my drug of choice. I already have three different running sets, but none of them are suitable for long runs. When I first started looking for a new backpack, I had certain requirements. Space for a 2 liter water bladder was a must; A lot of packs these days focus on front-loading bottles, but I prefer rear-loading bottles. I also wanted to have large pockets for groceries (sandwiches, energy bars, etc.), preferably in the front so I don't have to take my backpack off to get them. I have to take quite a lot of luggage, especially in winter: jacket, gloves, hat, phone, flashlight, etc. And I needed a zip pocket for my phone and keys. (I get annoyed when my phone falls out of bungee bags. I've also popped keys out of bungee bags, which can be bad when I'm in the middle of the woods and can't see where they fall.) I I looked at Ultimate Direction's backpacks, Nathan, CamelBak and Osprey. Neither of them was entirely right. They were either too minimalistic, made for smaller runs or intended for mega packs for UTMB. I could not find a backpack that is designed for short distances. Many backpacks also did not have a hydration bladder attachment. (Maybe they're out of style these days?) Anyway, I stumbled across this Triwonder pack while wandering around Revain. Surprisingly, the package contained everything I was looking for. The price was almost as stunning as the performance. Running backpack for less than 40€? I didn't know such an animal existed. I decided to give it a try. I've worn the backpack for several long workouts and couldn't be happier. All of my gear, food and water fit in, and the backpack wasn't too big or bulky. I'm not tall but the backpack has a lot of adjustments. I pulled everything down to the smallest size before the pack fits snugly, but there are good loops that keep the straps in place so they don't snag all over the place. (One fact my cat finds disappointing is that she loves nothing more than running jumps on my swinging running belts.) This is a fantastic backpack at a great price. I recommend it to anyone training for marathons or 50k runs. I will definitely be looking at more Triwonder devices.
