This headrest is good, it does the job and once adjusted it fits. It's not perfect, although mounted securely, but it's still clear that it's a clamp. If you remove it you'll notice that it has modest markings at the mounting points on the back of the Aeron that are invisible if left installed. The color (zinc from the original Aeron line) matches very closely. I probably wouldn't use the headrest the way the Aeron intended; except that the Aeron design allows you to bend over so aggressively and comfortably, except your head isn't supported. A tool is required to remove the plastic caps that cover the screws that need to be tightened in the headrest, and a fair amount of extra caps are included. in case you scratch one. Tightening the adjustment points requires large tools and some mechanical advantage, although I didn't feel in any danger of removing them. as a complement to my used aeron it is good.
