I bought these about a year ago and use them almost daily for my small jewelry business. They're still in perfect condition (the knife was a bit dull at the time, but it took a lot of effort to cut all kinds of wires) and they're very durable. Comfortable grip, handles do not slip, pliers do not deteriorate in a year. This is the only kit I own along with the Beadalon Bent Nose Pliers so that's all I use. I am very happy with my purchase. Edit: That was five years ago now. Still like new. I have made thousands of ornaments out of it. I replaced the wire cutters but the pliers are strong.
