I started out ordering the small based on my height (5'6") and weight (165). Small was way too small. Couldn't even button it. Returned and tried the medium. Could button it but no room for bulky clothes underneath. Returned that and went with the large. Perfect fit with enough room for a sweater or whatever underneath. Proof that these do run small. I never ordered a large anything that fit right until now. Quality is good for the price. Not as warm as you might think. The lining is not that thick so you will need to layer in very cold temps. Looks good and length is right. I'm happy with the purchase even if it was a challenge to get the size right.
