Review on Grennland Black Deluxe Marble Safety Razor and Brush Stand: Stylish & Stable Marble Weighted Base by Roberta Berg

To be clear, the product works great and does its job well. He's holding my shaving brush by the knot at the top, next to the handle. The hole is too narrow to hold the handle itself and that's fine. It also holds my Merkur 34C safety razor just below the blade head. Judging by the ads, it's made of real marble and has a decent weight. It's a solid device that again does the job it was designed and marketed to do. My disappointment is aesthetic, hence the 4 stars. All the ads I've seen for this product have shown it to have a matching flat base and vertical section, all in black and white marble. That's what I wanted. The picture on the packaging showed this when the box arrived. Judging by the attached photo, this is not what I received. The flat base I got is all white and the vertical part is black and white marble. First world issues, right? Maybe I'm too compulsive, but this shutdown bothers me. Not enough to throw everything in the trash or try to negotiate with the seller to get a replacement base because they didn't give me any promises or guarantees regarding the aesthetics. As I said, the stand is fully functional and well made. I just wanted everything to fit together. It is not. So think of the possibility. EDIT: Two days after I posted above, the seller contacted me with a very friendly email. They offered to return the money or replace the product with another one. My choice. I replied that I was happy with the color base advertised, but if not, a replacement would be very welcome. As I said, I love the product and the issue I had with it probably says more about me than the seller. Let's see how it goes from here.
