In my case it didn't work with Win7 64 bit. I spent 3 hours on the internet looking at my laptop, a whole good day wasted. Followed the instructions, ran the software/driver first, connected, when prompted the LED came on but the machine refused to recognize it, told me to connect it then OK click so i unplugged it and plugged it back in, click "ok" the whole install process went from 0% to complete the install in 1/100th of a second, no file copied the animated sequence, no hard work, went just straight to the end then it asked you need to restart your computer, i'm telling you you can't restart it unless you unplug the thing from the usb. My computer was on screen for a good half hour, the moment I unplugged it it restarted. I don't understand how this product got on the market in the first place. After rebooting, another check showed that there was literally nothing in the folder with the program, except for the uninstall link. so of course it didn't work. Yes, I saw the device in Device Manager and it existed as a wireless networking option on the network. but it's greyed out and says it's disabled, I couldn't enable it, tried many times. I've also tried using the compatibility option (Vista) to run the included CD driver and Belkin internet download drivers, but to no avail. it comes back in return. I want to play my online game dammit. Belkin is bad, just stick with making an extension cord.
