The transparent case looks very nice and feels solid, but there are a few issues. One of them I'll say was my mistake because I didn't realize I had to remove the metal battery connector from the old case and put it in the new one, so after reassembling I had to open it up again to fix it. But due to manufacturing issues, the side panels have a larger lip than the originals, and they interfere with the smooth fall of the release buttons, so I have to trim them down a bit. Second, the xyab buttons aren't as long as the original ones and barely protrude over them. the front panel of the controller, which makes it somewhat difficult to use. Finally the cross on the back had a piece broken off which is needed for the 'up' button to reach the sensor on the board as I have already started installing it. I just cut a small piece of plastic and glued it on. For me none of the flaws warranted a return, maybe a broken d-pad but I could deal with it and the joysticks are good. I don't expect them to have a good rubber grip as they were transparent but they are really good but considering that this whole case and button set costs the same as just the bezel I find pretty normal definitely perfect for one nice backup controller.
