Review on Lenovo Thinkpad Docking Station 40AH0135US by Mike Mitchell

Expensive and extremely useful. I bought it for myself and not for any company so I really had to weigh convenience against price. I use my 7th Gen X1 Carbon on this station and it has made my daily laptop porting rituals a lot easier. I take it out of my bag, put it on the dock and move the slider, it loads and connects to the LAN, scanner and printer and instantly backs up the hard drive and my dual monitor. Seriously, it's that simple. When the days are over I just slide it to the left and grab my laptop. It was worth it. Expensive. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a fixed setup with factory support. Simple and modular. Fits easily into my daily life. Almost no setup as I take my computer home every day and just plug the dock into all my devices instead of the computer. If in doubt, I would recommend buying it. Very good, although our product reduced my installation time to 2 seconds. Seriously, it's that fast.
