Installed this short antenna a few months ago because I got tired of banging on low hanging branches with the factory antenna. I rarely listen to the radio, but when I do I don't feel any loss in signal strength and the stations sound just as good as they used to. Installation is easy (unscrew the old one, screw in the new one). Looks much better and I didn't hit any branches!
