They were too big for the dog. I assumed they would fit the diameter of the foot. They fit a much larger dog, but if you tie them tight enough to stay on the dog's bony ankle, they fit so tight on the shoe and sock that they're not cute anymore. They will fold and curl when tied tightly, but the smaller size prevents the paw from expanding properly when weight is applied. The laces are a very cheap stretch fabric so they don't get knotted and once she started walking in them they came off easily. The overall quality of the boot is very poor. They're not all the same shape, and the logos, trim, and stitching are crooked and very off-center.
