Review on Ebuddy Hermione-Inspired American Attire by Jason Unruh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny despite the flaws!

The robe is sewn very well, evenly lined (no protruding seam allowances). They saved on the fabric - it's not long and flowy (maybe it's easier for a small child to handle). The Gryffindor patch is fully embroidered. It's tiny - 1 x 1.5 inches! It is sewn on top; not glued (I ripped the seam of the hem and removed the stitching under the patch). I made a longer and roomier robe with an embroidered pocket for my granddaughter, but I couldn't find a small embroidered patch on the internet, so I went with this one. The original bathrobe can now serve as a jacket. Sweater - Finished with a single line along the center yellow stripe. It should be easy to remove if you want to cut off the green stripe (not the right color for the outfit) and then sew it back on at the top. I left everything as it is. The blouse and skirt are well made and can be combined with other outfits. The waist of the skirt is loose on my Madame Alexander doll, but the tucked-in blouse keeps it in place. Socks - made from the same thin jersey as a t-shirt as a sweater, not fitted at the heel, just with the top seam tucked in (doesn't stretch). ) on the cuff. Shoes don't fit. Instead they would make nice long mittens. Shoes. The padded back sagged and was difficult to put on. I made a velcro which solved the problem. An alternative would be to glue a hard material to the inside of the back. She sits well on. Tie - Made of comfortable fabric, without reverse side, light gold (in the photo it looked silvery) with dark red. I learned from YouTube how to tie a knot, then cut it down the center of the back and sew it to the ends of the velcro. After all, the wand outfit is worth every penny!

Pros
  • General finish is excellent
Cons
  • I won't say anything
