I bought this adapter because I wanted to add WiFi to my computer. The fact that it offered both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections made it private. The kit includes everything you need for installation. You can plug it into any PCI-e slot from 1x to 16x slots. The only problem is that it doesn't come with the latest WiFi driver. For that you need to go to the Intel product page and download it. Once that's done, reboot and you're done. Bluetooth is good from the start and works great. I tested the download and upload speeds before and after installation and got amazing results. The speeds in the first test were almost the same, the difference was only 5 Mbps, the second time a few days later and they coincided. I had no lag at all. Streaming is a dream, software downloads are as fast as my network cable. I definitely recommend it if you want to add a WiFi connection to your computer and get rid of the Bluetooth dongle.
