I ordered this with a healthy dose of skepticism. Would it be easier, quicker, and cleaner than snipping off the ends of each clove and then peeling them off? Will it sit in a drawer like an unused kitchen trick? As someone who cooks with garlic every day, I think it's fantastic. You can tuck a couple of cloves up your sleeve (so far my record is five), then squeeze and roll up. Now the bare cloves will fall out and most of the skin will stick to the silicone. The silicone rinses off quickly with water, then it can be stored in a ventilated case so it can dry without dripping onto anything in a desk drawer. Consumed regularly, garlic is an affordable luxury.
