Discarded the old halogen bulbs
These bulbs use about 1/10 the energy of the old bulbs, don't get hot and shine brighter. In my RV, I can leave them on for as long as I want and never have to worry about battery drain. Actually I went all the LEDs. My van is 15 years old so I replaced all the electronics in it and the LED technology is a marvel as far as I know.
