Review on 💡 Furman Power Conditioner: Black, Standard Strip (SS6B) - Superior Plug-in Solution by Ivan Brown

I never thought a surge protector would hit me. In my office, my new amp/speakers suffered from a very low hum at higher volumes. I decided I would take two of them to try out a theory from the internet; Separate digital power devices from analog. Volume 1: Behringer A500 (feeds a pair of K-Bas Monoprice) and Schiit Magni 3 Volume 2: PC, Monitor, Schiit Modi 2 Not only is the hum mostly gone (barely audible, needs to be turned up to 11), but the amp is louder for legal reasons. I'm amazed these aren't voltage stabilizers/capacitors. STRUCK! Without changing the settings, the amp sounds louder and has a sharper attack on the sound. Its magical. Same result with my headphone amp. My next step is to add a subwoofer to make up for the lack of bass. Let's hope there's no harm in improving performance by adding another amplifier to the same source/extender.
