I have a sliding glass door that requires floor length curtains. I've tried using traditional hangers, each of which requires two screws directly into the wall. Firstly I couldn't get both screws in as it was partially blocked by the suspension itself! Second (and this is due to my lack of experience) the screw I was able to turn in just backed out because I didn't hit the bolt. Now I have an ugly screw hole and still no curtains. I bought this "ledge mount" not knowing if it would meet my needs - the roughly 12ft wide sliding glass door left to right sounds like it could be a problem for something "cutting" into the frame ". As a result, it took longer to remove them from the packaging than to actually install them. A few clicks on both sides and the hooks are in place! I put a pole and curtain on them and they are really strong! If I had tried it from the start it would have saved me a lot of trouble! Save your walls, this product works!
