I have calculated about 10 ounces of water or low strength sports drink for every 30 minutes of running in warm weather. Otherwise I realize that I will start to get cramps. This may not be the same for everyone, it varies depending on age, weight and physical condition. I also bought Amphipod Runlite with 2 bottles and lost the bottle. I appreciated the replacement bottles and then the Snapflask module. I felt it was worth the extra money to be able to carry an extra bottle. I could transport at least 3 bottles with it. I found I was using a little over 10 ounces every three miles. There are times when I want to run 7 or 8 miles and need extra water. It takes time for the bottles to figure out the best way to remove and then reinsert them. I do like the wide opening for adding sport powder though. The bottles do not leak and hold up well.
