I was looking for an Encased phone mount after the Encased phone mount I bought 3 years ago finally died. This phone holder was so good I would take it with me when I went anywhere that I had a rental car. The suction cup on it was good for many many assembly and disassembly. Unfortunately it has no suction power. They put some kind of glue/sticky stuff on it and when my car pulled into the shop and they had to take it off that was it for this holder. The glue doesn't hold anymore and the suction doesn't hold. The mechanism is strong, but that makes it heavier, and the armor is designed to keep the load going, making it less stable. Even before the first removal, the joint at the base of the suction cup was loose. Incredibly disappointing.
