Review on πŸš— Innova 3160 OBD2 Vehicle Diagnostic Scan Tool: ABS/SRS, Live Data Included by Gregory Plump

Works quite well - until now 2019

I bought this OBD scanner almost 3 years ago (3160d) and it does what I need. It's not the full tablet I used at the dealer, but it's not worth a dime compared to a factory device. I use it on my sleds and other family piles to get codes, then go online to get model specific info (forums and youtube) for generic codes. Yes there are some instructions but I had several years of OBD exposure so it wasn't a big deal. The scanner is sufficient for my purposes. I have 1 old beast with OBD 1 but the jumper cable and flash code list sheet work like hell. So far the SRS and ABS functions have worked and given me generic codes for foreign and domestic not-too-fancy cars that I was familiar with. I'm happy with the Inova 3160d because it really helps me get things done. Update 19.10 bought 14.11 it's almost 5 years ago and still working, getting ready for a new Asian iron and probably need to update the software and some reviews are good about the updates, also bought a new Autel multifunction scanner that may easier to update - I'll keep you posted
