I debated about whether or not to purchase a mouse from Apple for a very extended period of time due to the relatively high cost of their products. At first, I attempted to purchase more low-cost bluetooth mice from a variety of brands, but the Macbook wouldn't recognize them. There is no USB connector for either wired or USB mice in this device. I have now been using this model for two weeks, and I can honestly say that I have never once regretted making the decision to buy it. It seemed really strange at first to hold the mouse in the palm of your hand; nevertheless, after only a short period of time, the hand became accustomed to the new device, and there is now not the slightest bit of discomfort. The mouse is multipurpose, and it can perform practically all of the functions that a trackpad on a laptop would. The charge is held for an extremely long time; I have been using it for work for the past two weeks on a daily basis, and it still has more than 60% of its capacity. The only drawback that I was able to identify is that there are audible clicks whenever the keys are pressed, but this is entirely subjective, and I do not find them annoying in the least. Because I believe that the cost is appropriate for what is being offered, I do not include it among the drawbacks.
