Review on Skullcandy Crusher Wireless Over Ear Headphones by Agata Krupa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

- Soundproofing does a great job of shielding you from the outside world and the outside world from you. - I frequently wore in-ear headphones and occasionally wore them overhead. These are the first full-sized closed-back headphones, and aside from the higher frequencies of the Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD, their sound quality is inferior (but they are not inferior in cable quality, they changed every 6-8 months due to the connector). The highs and mids are both fine, although not as brilliant as in the example above. It is obvious that the bottoms are incomparable in this instance. - With regard to the bass, a second 34mm driver for low frequencies is present in addition to the 40mm primary driver. It features a crossfader slider, so even if you don't like the way some music "tuts" in your ears (which is the case here; occasionally it even dazzles your eyes out of habit), you can turn it down to zero. The 34mm driver will be able to reproduce any frequencies that fall within its playback range to the fullest. Moreover, it reproduces frequencies from 3 Hz to about 80 Hz pretty clearly. The headset shakes at 60, making it difficult to listen to a pure tone for an extended period of time. - The plan is straightforward and robust. The folding mechanism and hair on the upper rim are both resilient. Ear cups are leatherette. All parts that come in contact with the head are well-fitting and lined with comfortable foam materials. They are folded and put inside a bag that is both strong and soft on the inside. - The battery's claimed 40-hour runtime is accurate. I use them at full volume for a week without charging them. They will last for one or two more days if the phone's indicator indicates a low charge. The strength of the cable, or rather the junction of it with a 3.5 connection, has proven to be the biggest predictor of durability for me over time. Wireless headphones, then, provide a solution to this issue. I might add that I recently added Crusher to my Meizu EP52, so I can state with confidence that charging headphones at night is not a usual routine. Hours of labor have allowed me to cross the line where using a wifi connection is no longer a hassle.

Pros
  • Sound, bass, comfort, durability, case included, and more Possibility of cable connection + The battery is enormous and looks fantastic.
Cons
  • - They fit a huge head extremely tightly (caps of set sizes do not fit), which brings up two distinctions: 1) If your ears start to hurt after two hours of wearing it, take it off for 20 seconds. 2) Your ears will be warm if it's warm outside or if you are. Winter conditions are unknown, but they are in late spring and summer.
