After two days of trying to install recoil springs and peeling skin on my knuckles and fingers, I got the idea that I should have paid someone else to work on the brakes. I came across this article while browsing Revain. I thought about it and decided not to try it for a few bucks. I mean all the manuals say to use a vise, maybe they work for most people but for me it just sucks, I needed something to handle and get the job done. The only downside I had was that the end of the spring was too big to fit in the corner slot. I took out a small file, in 5 minutes it was in the store. I put the spring in the tool, grabbed the big handle and pushed the suction cup right in there. It was the best deal I have ever received and also the cheapest. This is a valuable addition to my toolbox.
